Chap. 69.—An ACT to amend and re-enact the act passed by the gen-
eral assembly of Virginia.as amended by an act approved February
19, 1884, to provide for the election of the trustees of the town of
Orange bicnnially.
Approved April 11, 1887.
1, Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the act passed and approved the nineteenth day of February,
eighteen hundred and cighty-four, amending the act passed
‘December twentieth, eighteen hundred and tifty-tive, entitled
an act to incorporate the town of Orange, be amended and
re-enacted so as to read as follows: John M. Chapman, Alex-
ander Daley, Thomas A. Robinson, Alfred Thomas, and
Philip S. Fry, or any two of them or their successors in office,
are hereby authorized to hold an election for tive trustees , as
provided tor in the second section of said act, on the fourth
Thursday of May next ensuing, and thereatter elections for
trustees for the town of Orange shall be held biennially on
the fourth Thursday in May; said elections to be conducted
according to the provision of law governing general elections.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
