Chap. 6.—An ACT to authorize the Roanoke water works to issue
its capital stock, or any part thereof, for land or other property
suited to the business of its works.

Approved March 25, 1887,

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the Roanoke water works, a Corporation chartered on or about
the eighteenth day of November, eighteen hundred and cigh-
ty-six.in the circuit court of Roanoke city, by the HLonorable
Henry FE. Blair. judge of the fourteenth judicial district, may
receive land and other property suited to the business of the
company. in payment of subscriptions to the whole or any
part of its capital stock, or in purchase thereof at such valu.
ation as may be agreed upon between the directors and sub-
seribers or purchasers.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
