Chap. 49.—An ACT for the relief of F. P. Wray, of fines imposed on
him by the county court of Brunswick county.

Whereas, at the November term, eighteen hundred and
eighty-five, of the county court of Brunswick county, F. P.
ray was convicted of unlawfully, but not feloniously, shoot-
ing cattle, and fines assessed against him in favor of the com-
monwealth, amounting in the aggregate, to fifteen dollars,
which fines he has paid into the treasury ; and whereas, the
judge, and other officers of the court, and jurors who tried
the case, recommend that said funds be refunded: therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the auditor of public accounts be, and he is hereby instructed
to refund to F. P. Wray the sum of fifteen dollars, the amount
of said fines, out of any money in the treasury not otherwise
appropriated.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
