Chap. 399.—An ACT to provide for the payment of Virginia's due
proportion of the joint expense of re-running and re-marking a por-
tion of the boundary line between Virginia and North Carolina,
under the act of assembly approved March 6, 1886.

Approved May 23, 1887.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the sum of three thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may
be necessary, be and the same is hereby appropriated out of
any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, to
pay Virginia’s due proportion of the joint expense of re-
running and re-marking a portion of the boundary line be-
tween this State and North Carolina, under the act of assem-
bly approved March sixth, eighteen hundred and elehty-six ;
and the auditor of public accounts is hereby authorized and
directed to draw his warrant on the treasurer and upon the
said fund hereby appropriated, in favor of such persons and
for such amounts as the governor of the commonwealth shall
certify to him the same is due.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
