Chap. 364.—An ACT to amend the charter of the town of Falls Churtt.
in the county of Fairfax.
Approved May 21, 1887.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
section nine of an act entitled an act to incorporate the town
of Falls Caurch in Fairfax county, approved March thirtieth.
eighteen hundred and seventy-five, be amended and re-enacted
so as to read as follows:
§9. The following are declared to be the bounds of said
town: Beginning at the corner of Alexandria and Fairfax
counties on J. C. De Putroi’s farm; thence to the corner of
W. H. Ellison and —— Koon, on D. H. Barrett’s line; thence
to the corner of Sewell and Hollidge on the New Cut road.
thence to a corner of J. E. Birch and Henry J. England on
the Falls Church and Fairfax Courthouse road; then east-
erly along the centre of said road to a bridge over Dulaney:
run; thence easterly to the northwest corner of the colored
Methodist church on the road leading to Annandale; thence
easterly to the crossing of the Alexandria and Georgetown
roads at Taylor’s corner; thence along the line of said George-
town road to the corner of Samuel Shreve and John Febrey:
thence to a pin oak tree near Doctor L. E. Gott’s spring:
thence to the northeast corner of John Brown’s barn; thence
to the crossing of Isaac Crossman’s and Bowen's line on the
Chain Bridge road; and thence to place of beginning.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
