Chap. 338.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 8 of chapter 248,
Acts of 1885-6, in relation to submitting the question of liquor license
to the qualified voters of the several counties, corporations, anJ
magisterial districts.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
section eight of chapter two hundred and forty-eight of the
act approved February twenty-six, eighteen hundred and
eighty-six, entitled an act to provide for submitting the ques-
tion of liquor license to the qualified voters of the several
counties, corporations, and magisterial districts, be amended
and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
§8. This "act shall be construed to prohibit distillers ot
alcoholic liquors or manufacturers of wine or malt liquors
from selling and delivering any such liquors or wines in any
county, magisterial district, or corporation voting as afore
said against the sale of intoxicating liquors therein.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
