Chap. 336.—An ACT to allow W. B. W. Brooking, treasurer of Gooch-
land county, and his deputies, further time in which to collect un-
paid taxes and levies for the years 1883 and 1884.

W bereas W. B. W. Brooking, treasurer of Goochland county,
and his deputies, have in their bands various tickets for taxes
and levies, both State and county, for the years eic¢hteen bun-
dred and cighty-three and eightcen hundred and cighty four,
and said tickets amounting to dullars, remain uncol-
lected; therefore,

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Vifginia, That
authority is hereby given to the said W. B. W. Brooking,
treasurer as aforcsaid, and his deputies, to collect the amount
due upon said tickets for taxes and levics, and they shall have
the same power of levy and distress for the same that treas-
arers now possess under the revenue laws, and that this
ower be extended for one year from the passage of this act.
