Chap. 327.—An ACT making an appropriation to the Eastern lunatic
asylum for certain purposes.

Approved May 20, 1887.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the sum of thirteen thousand dollars is hereby appropriated
out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated,
to the Eastern lunatic asylum; ten thousand dollars thereof
to be used in the payment of all debts and liabilities now due
by said asylum, and three thousand dollars to be used in the
purchase and erection of necessary apparatus and fixtures
for the protection of the buildings from fire, and for the comple-
tton and stuccoing of the building for male patients recently
erected at said asylum.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
