Chap. 313.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section two of an act ap-
proved February twenty-four, eighteen hundred and eighty-six, en-
titled an act to incorporate the Culpeper, Sperryville, Washington,
and Fort Royal telephone company. )

1. Beit enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
tbe second section of the act approved February twenty-
fourth, eighteen hundred and eighty-six, entitled an act to
incorporate the Culpeper, Sperryville, Washington, and Front
Royal telephone company, be amended and re-enacted so as
to read as follows:
§2. The said corporation by a majority of its stockholders
shall have authority to acquire, erect, and maintain telegraph
and telephone lines and offices in the counties of Culpeper,
Rappahannock, Warren, Page, Clarke, and elsewhere in the
State, and may occupy the margin of any road or other pub-
lic highway, so as not to obstruct the same.
This act shall be in force from its passave.
