Chap. 308.—An ACT to incorporate the Working Man's Saving Asso-
ciation.
Approved May 20, 1887.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
Jessie Spencer, Preston Cobb, Winston Penn, James Zigler,
Wesley Clanton, and such other persons as may hereafter be
associated with them, be and they are hereby made a body
politic and corporate by the name and style of the Working
Man’s Saving Association, and by this name may sue and be
sued in all its courts of this commonwealth.
2. One of the objects of this corporation shall be to take
care of its sick and destitute members, to bury its dead, to
support the widows and orphans, children of its members,
and encourage and promote good morals and knowledge
among its members and their families.
3. The said corporation may take and hold so m
and personal estate as may be suitable for its objec

4. The place of business of said corporation she
