Chap. 303.—An ACT to authorize the district school board of Fauquier
county, under certain conditions to use district school funds for the
payment of teachers.

Approved May 20, 1887."

1. Beit enacted by the gencral assembly of Virginia, That
it shall be lawful for the school board of any school district
in the county of Fauquier, when a sufficient number of school
houses have been built in said district and all the contingent
expenses provided for, to make use of so much of the dis-
trict school money for the payment of teachers, as in its
judgment the educational interests of the district may seem
to demand.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
