Chap. 294.—An ACT to provide for a new registration of voters at
Stock Yards precinct in the county of Roanoke.
Approved May 18, 1887,
1. Be it enacted by the gencralassembly of Virginia, That
the revistrar at Stock Yards precinct in the county of Roa-
noke, be authorized and directed to make a new revistration
of the qualified voters residing within the bounds of said pre-
einct, and for this purpose shall sit for a period of six days,
bevinning on Monday tenth day of October, eighteen bun-
dred and. cighty-seven; and said registrar shall give notice
for at least ten days previous, by printed hand bills posted at
not less than ten places in said precinct of said registration,
2. Said registration shall supersede the present registration
of voters at said precinct; anil the registrar is directed to
destroy tho registration books now in use at said precinct.
3. The sccretary of* the commonwealth shall furnish the
clerk of Ruanoke county with suitable books to carry out the
provisions of this act.
4. This act shall be in force from its passage.
