Chap. 284.—An ACT to attach the county of Dickenson to the second
senatorial district.

Approved May 18, 1887.

Whereas since the last apportionment of the State for sen-
ators and members of the house of deleyates, the county of
Dickenson has been created by law; therefore,

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the said county of Dickenson shall constitute a part of the
second senatorial district, and the counties of Lee, Scott,
Wise, and Dickenson shall elect one senator.

2. All acts and parts of acts inconsistent with this act are
hereby repealed.
