Chap. 27.—An ACT directing the board of public works to deliver to
the Chesapeake and Olio railway company certain maps and
papers.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the board of public works be, and they are hereby directed to
deliver to the Chesapeake and Ohio railway company all
maps and other papers now in their possession relating to the
right of way of the Virginia Central railroad, the Covington
and Obio railroad, and “the Blue Ridge railroad companies:
provided however, that where such paper relating to the
right of way is the receipt for money paid by the State or any
ofticer thereof, the secretary of the board shall furnish the said
railroad company with a certified copy thereof, which copy
shall be evidence in all the courts of the commonwealth, and
the original shall remain on file in the office of the board of
public works.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
