Chap. 260.—An ACT to allow L. M. Robinson to erect a pier or wharf
in James river, opposite his land in James City county.

lL. Bo it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
41, M. Robinson be authorized to erect a pier or wharf on
James river, at the landing of the said L. M. Robinson, in
James City county, for the purpose of shipping lumber, wood,
and so forth, for himself and others; said L. M. Robinson, his
heirs, and so forth, shall have the right to charge such com-
pensation for the use of said pier or wharf as may be agreed
upon by and between the parties, or are as usual: provided
that the said pier or wharf shall not interfere with naviga-
tion.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
