Chap. 243.—An ACT to authorize the distriet school board of Marks-
ville district, in the county of Page, to use a portion of the school
fund of said district to pay teachers,

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That it shall be
lawtual for the district school board of Marksville district, in
the county of Page, to use a portion, not exceeding one-third
of the school fund belonging to said district, for the purpose
of paying teachers in said district.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage, and shall
apply to the current year.
