Chap. 237.—An ACT to consolidate the Franklin and Rocky Mount
school districts in Franklin county.
Approved May 14, 1887.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the town of Rocky Mount. in Franklin county, shall no longer
constitute a separate school district, but the school districts
In said county, at present known as Franklin district and
Rocky Mount district, shall be and the same are hereby con-
solidated, and shall hereafter he known as the Rocky Mount
school district, which new district. shall hereafter be sub-
ject to the control and management of the trustees of the
present Franklin district, and their successors in oflice, who
shall hereafter be known as trustees for Rocky Mount school
district.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
