Chap. 205.—An ACT to allow George W. Amory to erect a wharf at
Fore’s landing, in York county.
Approved May 12, 1887.
1. Be it enacted by the general ¢ ssembly of Virginia, That
George W. Amory, of the county of York, be and he is here-
by authorized to erect a whart at Fore’s landing, in said
county, on Back river, for the purpose of shipping oysters,
vegetables, produce, and so forth, to and from the samo, for
himself and others; and tho said George W. Amory, his
heirs and assigns, shall have the right to charge such com-
pensation for the use of said wharf as may be agreed upon
by and between the parties, or as are usual: provided that
the said wharf shall not interfere with navigation: and pro-
vided also that this act shall at all times be under the control
of the general assembly and be amended or repealed as may
be deemed proper.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
