Chap. 152.—An ACT to relieve South river and Fork school districts
in Warren county, from the payment of certain moneys borrowed
from the county school fund, apportioned to said districts.

Whereas the district board of trustees for public free schools
of South river district, in Warren county, Virginia, did,
the year eighteen hundred and eighty-five, borrow from the
county school fund, which was apportioned to said district to
pay teachers, the sum of three hundred and thirty dollars to
aid in erecting school houses in said district; and whereas
the said district board has suthcient funds to pay their public
free school teachers; and whereas the said district board is
deticient in district funds, and the maximum levy allowed by
law for district purposes is insuflicient to meet the necessary
expenses incurred for building and turnishing school houses
in said district; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the said district board of trustees for publie free schools of
South River district, Warren county, Virginia, be and. the
sume is hereby declared relieved from all obligations under
the law to refund the said sum of three hundred and thirty
dollars, borrowed as aforesaid from the county school teach-
ers’ fund, belonging to said district; and whereas the district
board of trustees for public free schools of Fork district, in
Warren county, Virginia, did in like manner, in the year
eighteen hundred and viehty seven, borrow from its teachers’
school fund the sum of one hundred and five dollars to aid ip
building school houses in said district, and does not need a
return of the same to pay its teachers, and is likewise defi-
cient in district school funds, the maximum levy being insuftti-
cient to build and equip school houses in said distriet t; there-
fore,
2. Be it further enacted, That the said district board of
trustees for public free schools of said district, be and the
same is hereby relieved from all obligations under the law to
repay said sum of one hundred and tive dollars, borrowed as
aforesaid, to the teachers’ fund of said Fork district, in War-
ren county.
