Chap. 15.—An ACT to amend an act entitled an act to incorporate the
Sisters of Charity of St. Joseph’s Academy and Orphan Asvlum of
Richmond, Virginia.

Approved March 30, 1837.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
section eight, chapter ninety-one of the Acts of the session of
eighteen ‘hundred and ei ghty- -five-six, entitled an act to in-
corporate the Sisters of C “havity of Saint Joseph's Academy
and Orphan Asylum of Richmond, Virginia, be amended and
re-enacted so as to read as follows:

§ 8. Whenever it sball be necessary for the board of trus-
tees, or any of them, to give bond with security, before re-
ceiving any money, assets, or property, in which the said as-
sociation may be interested, it shall be lawful for the said as-
sociation to become surety upon the bond or bonds given by
the said trustees or any of them.

2. This act shall be in force trom its passage.
