Chap. 147.—An ACT to allow Lloyd 8S. White to erect a wharf on
Nassawadux creek, in Northampton county.
Approved May 6, 1887.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
Lloyd S. White, of the county of Northampton, be and he is
hereby authorized to erecta wharf on Nassawadux creek, in
front of his land, for the purpose of receiving and shipping
freight on or from vessels or steamers, and bo subject to all
the laws of Virginia governing all wharves erected in the
waters of the commonwealth. And the said Lloyd S. White,
his heirs or assigns, shall have the right to charge such com-
pensation for the use of said wharf as may have been ayreed
upon by and between the parties, or as are usual: provided
that said wharf shall not interfere with navigation: and pro-
vided also that this act shall at ail times be under the control
of the general assembly, and be amended or repealed as they
deem prop per.
