Chap. 143.—An ACT for the relief of the board of supervisors of Mid-
dlesex county respecting the public roads of said county.

Approved May 6, 1887.

1. Beit enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the board of supervisors of Middlesex county be authorized
and empowered to repeal and rescind an order entered on the
second of February, eighteen hundred and eighty-five, adopt-
ing the road law, approved March cighth, eighteen hundred
and cighty-four, (session acts cixhteen hundred and eighty-
three-tour,) for Middlesex county; and said board of super-
visors are hereby authorized and empowered to adopt the
road law approved March twentieth, eighteen hundred and
seventy-five, (session acts cighteen hundred and seventy-four-
seventy five, ) chapter one hundred and cighty-one, in lieu
thereot for the working of the public roads in Middlesex
county.

2. ‘This act shall be in force from its passage.
