Chap. 142.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 2 of an act ap-
preved March 1, 1886, entitled an act to incorporate the Fauquier
telephone company.

Approved May 6, 1887.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the second section of the act approved on the first day ot!
March, cighteen hundred and eighty-six, entitled an act tc
incorporate the Fauquier telephone company, be amended
and re-enacted so as to read as follows:

§ 2. The said corporation shall have authority to acquire
erect, and maintain telephone lines and offices in the counties
of Fauquier, Culpeper, and Rappahannock, and may erect
and maintain its lines along the public highways of saic
counties, but not to obstruct the same.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
