Chap. 136.—An ACT to authorize the Roanoke land improvement
company to subscribe for, guarantee, or acquire the stock and bonds
of any corporation of this State.

Approved May 5, 1887.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the Roanoke land and improvement company, a corporation
chartered by the Honorable Henry I. Blair, judge of the
circuit court of Roanoke county, State of Virvinia, on or
about the third of September, eighteen hundred and ‘cighty-
one, be and hereby is authorized and empowered to subscribe
for, guarantee, or acquire the stock and bonds of any corpo-
‘ation of this State.

This act shall be in force from its passage.
