Chap. 118.—An ACT authorizing the West-end land company of Ner-
folk city, to construct a toll-bridge across Smith’s and Glebe cresks
in Norfolk county.

Approved May 2, 1887.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the West-end land company of the city of Nortolk, be and
are hereby authorized to erect and construct at their own
expense a toll-bridge across Smith's and Glebe creeks in the
city and county of Norfolk, at a point commencing at the
north end of’ Duke street and ending on the opposite shore
of C. B. Lewellen, in Nortolk county, and may charve tolls
from all persons transporting animals and vehicles over the
same: provided that said bridge shall not obstruct naviyation
of said creeks, and draws shall be provided for this purpose.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
