Chap. 79.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 3 of an act ap-
proved February 18, 1886, entitled an act for the better protection
of game in Henry county.
Approved February 8, 1888.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
section three of an act entitled an act to provide for the
better protection of game in Henry county, approved Febru-
ary eighteen, eighteen hundred and eighty-six, be amended
and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
§3. The board of supervisors of Henry county at their
annual July meeting, may, at their discretion, award premi-
ums not to exceed two dollars for each scalp of wild cat,
catamount, or red fox; one dollar for each scalp of gray fox
or mink, and fifty cents for each scalp of weasel, chicken-
hawk, or owl, upon satisfactory evidence that the same were
killed in the county and by the person in whose behalf the
same may be presented, and within the last twelve months.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
