Chap. 6.—An ACT to amend the second section of an act to incorpo-
rate the Warrenton and Marshall Road Company.
Approved January 9, 1888.
“1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That
the second section of an act entitled an act to incorporate
the Warrenton and Marshall road company, approved the
twelfth day of May, eighteen hundred and eighty-seven, be
and the same is hereby amended and re-enacted so that the
same shall read as follows: so
§ 2. That the capital stock of the company shall be five
thousand dollars, divided into shares of five dollars each.
,M. A. Spillman, James P. Jeffries, William E. Gaskins, R. P.
Barry, and E. M. Jeffries, or any one of them, are hereby ap-
pointed commissioners to open books of subscription at such
place or places as they may select, and so soon as four hun-
dred dollars of the stock shall have been subscribed to the
. first two miles of said road from Warrenton, the said com-
missioners, upon reasonable notice personally or by publica-
tion to the subscribers, shall call a meeting to assemble at
Warrenton at such time as said commissioners may indicate
in said notice for the purpose of organization.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
