Chap. 478.—An ACT to pron fishing in the waters of the ‘North
fork of Holstein river by seines and traps, or by poisoning, or by
killing with dynamite.

Approved March 5, 1888.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
it shall be unlawful for any person to fish in the waters of the
North fork of Holstein river, in this state, by the use of seines,
gigs, shooting-boats, or traps during the months of April, May,
and June, or by poisoning in any manner, or to kill them
with dynamite at any time.

2. Any person guilty of violating these provisions, shall be
deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof,
shall be fined fifty dollars for each offence.

3. This act shall be in force from its passage.
