Chap. 475.—An ACT to remove the political disabilities of W. S.
Mathews and others.

Approved March 6, 1888.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia (two-
thirds of both houses concurring), That the disabilities of
William S. Mathews, Giles W. Trinkle, J. 8. Hoge, F. M.
Payne, William A. Johnston, and W. A. French, incurred
under clause three of section one of article three of the con-
stitution of Virginia, with reference to duelling, be and the
same are hereby removed.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
