Chap. 464.—An ACT for the relief of D. C. Mallory, treasurer of Gray-
son county.
Approvéd March 5, 1888.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the auditor of public accounts be, and he is hereby directed
to issue his warrant on the treasurer, payable out of any
money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, in favor
of D. C. Mallory, treasurer of Grayson county, for the sum
of forty dollars, which amount was collected for tax due the
state, and was accidentally burnt, with a house and its con-
tents, where said forty dollars had been deposited for safe-
keeping during the night, and which amount has been paid
into the treasury of Virginia by said D.C. Mallory out of
his individual money.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
