Chap. 453.—An ACT for the relief of John Henry Purvis, a lunatic.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
all state taxes for the years from eighteen hundred and
seventy-six to eighteen hundred and eighty-two, both inclu-
sive, on the lands recently belonging to John Henry Purvis,
a lunatic, lying in Patrick county, on or near the Mayo and
and Dan rivers, and heretofore standing on the land books in
the name of J. J. Purvis, be and the same are hereby released
and forever discharged and barred.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
