Chap. 435.—An ACT for the relief of G. W. Hawbert, of Roanoke
county.

Whereas it appears from the affidavits of the commissioner
of the revenue and treasurers of Roanoke county and?Roa-
noke city that G. W. Hawbert has twice paid into the treas-
ury of Virginia the sum of twenty-two dollars and eighty-
five cents on account of erroneous assessment of land against
him; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the auditor of public accounts of Virginia be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to draw his warrant on the treasury
of Virginia, upon any funds therein not otherwise appro-
priated, in favor of said G. W. Hawbert for the sum of twenty.
two dollars and eighty-five cents.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
