Chap. 348.—An ACT for the relief of Sidney S. Fowlkes, of Nottoway
county, from the payment of a fine imposed by the county court of
Nottoway.

Approved March 2, 1888.

Whereas it is brought to the knowledge of the general as-
sembly that Sidney S. Fowlkes was, at the June term of the
county court of Nottoway county, find forty-eight dollars and
ninety-one cents, said amount, including cost, for misde-
meanor; and, whereas, by reason of ill health he is unable to
pay said fine; and it appearing that his conduct since said
fine was imposed has been that of an honest and upright citi-
zen; therefore,

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the said Sidney S. Fowlkes be and he is hereby released from
the payment of said fine imposed by the county court of
Nottoway county on the —— day of June, eighteen hundred
and eighty-six.

2.This apt shall be in force from its; passage.
