Chap. 320.—An ACT to provine payment out of the public treasury to
William T. Fitzpatric deputy sheriff, the amount of expense in-
curred by him in behalf of the commonwealth.
Approved March 1, 1888.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
William T. Fitzpatrick, deputy of John E. Fitzpatrick, sher-
iff of Bedford county, be paid out of the public treasury the
sum of forty-one dollars and forty cents, for money expended
and necessary expenses incurred by him in summoning and
bringing from the state of West Virginia, in obedience to an
order of the judge of the county court of the said county, a
witness in behalf of the commonwealth in a felony case of
the commonwealth versus George Bond, lately tried in said
court, and for removing the said George Bond, under the or-
der of the said court, from the jail in the said county to the
jail in the city of Lynchburg; and that the auditor of public
accounts draw his warrant in favor of the said William T.
Fitzpatrick on the treasurer of the state for the said;sum.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
