Chap. 293.—An ACT for the relief of J. Winston Repass, treasurer of

three, eighteen hundred -and eighty-four, and eighteen hun-
dred and eighty-five, which remain uncollected, but which
he has accounted for to the state; therefore,

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
authority be and the same is hereby given to J. Winston
Repass, treasurer as aforesaid, to collect said tickets for taxes
and levies, and he shall have the same power to levy and dis-
train for the same that county treasurers now have under
the revenue laws, this power to continue only one year from
the passage of this act.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
