Chap. 239.—An ACT to change the name of the Lynchburg agricultu-
ral and mechanical society.

Approved February 24, 1888.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the name of the Lynchburg agricultural and mechanical
society, be and the same is hereby changed to the Lynchburg
industrial society.

2. That all the rights, privileges, obligations, and respon-
sibilities attaching to said society under its former name,
shall attach to it under its new name.

3. That this act shall be in force from its passage. .
