Chap. 231.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 8 of the act
approved March 3, 1884, entitled an act to incorporate the Pittsburg
and Virginia railroad company.

Approved February 24, 1888.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
section eight of the act approved March third, eighteen hun-
dred and eighty-four, entitled an act to incorporate the Pitts-
burg and Virginia railroad company, be amended and re-en-
acted so as to read as follows:

§8. Said company or its successor shall begin the work of
constructing its railroad within two years from the first day |
of July, eighteen hundred and ninety; and shall complete its
main line in this state within ten years from the completion
of said surveys and location.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage. (
