Chap. 70.—An ACT to authorize the Second Auditor to complete
Bond No. 308, issued under Act of the General Assembly, ap-
proved the 28th of March, 1879.

Approved February 5, 1886.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That

the second auditor is hereby authorized to fund into the new
three per centum bonds of the state, under act of’the general
assembly, approved the fourteenth day of February, eightee:
hundred and eighty-two, and as amended the twenty-ninth dav
of November, eighteen hundred and eighty-four, bond numbe
three hundred and eight, of the principal sum of five hundret
dollars, with coupons attached, issued under an act of the gen
eral assembly, approved the twenty-eighth day of March, eight
een hundred and seventy-nine, and commonly known as ten
forty bonds, which is now defective from the omission of th:
signature of the second auditor, but regular in all other re
spects, the genuineness of said bond being proven by the cer
tificates of the present second auditor, the first clerk in the au
ditor’s office, and of the first clerk of ‘the treasurer’s office.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
