Chap. 47.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section one of an act en-
titled, an act to provide for removing obstructions in Bush river, in
Prince Edward county, Virginia.

. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
an ‘act entitled, an act to provide for removing obstructions in
Bush rivér, in Prince Edward county, Virginia, in force Janu-
ary twenty-eighth, eighteen hundred and eighty-four, be and
is hereby amended and re-enacted, so as to read as follows: _

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
it shall be lawful for the board of supervisors of Prince Edward
county, Virginia, to impose, levy, and cause to be collected, an
annual tax of not exceeding fiftéen cents per acre upon all low

rounds, subject to overflow, lying on either side of Bush river,
in said county, and to apply said tax to the purpose of clean-
ing out and removing the obstructions from said river along
the line of the lands so taxed as aforesaid.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
