CHAP. 467.—An ACT to amend and re-enact an act in force February
21, 1882, entitled an act to incorporate the Virginia and Carolina
railroad company.

Approved March 6, 1886."

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
section ten, of the act in force February twenty-first, eighteen
hundred and eighty-two, to incorporate the Virginia and Caro-
lina railroad company, which reads as follows: §10. The said
Virginia and Carolina railroad company shall commence the
work under this bill within two years, and complete the same
within five years from the passage of this act, otherwise this
act shall be null and void, be amended and re-enacted so as to
read as follows: ,

$10. The said Virginia and Carolina railroad company shall
commence the work under this bill within two years, and com-
plete the same within three years from the first of January,
eighteen hundred and eighty-six. :

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
