Chap. 465.—An ACT to provide for the appointment of commission
to locate and establish the dividing line between this state and the
state of North Carolina.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the governor be and he is hereby authorized to appoint a com-
petent commissioner on the part of the state to act with the
surveyor or commissioners appointed or to be appointed by the
state of North Carolina, to re-run and re-mark, by some per-
manent monument, at convenient intervals, not greater than
five miles, the boundary lines between this state and the state
of North Carolina, along the northern border of the counties
of Currituck, Camden and Gates.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
