cultural and Mechanical Society of Fredericksburg.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
Charles Wallace, George E. Chancellor, G. W. Shepherd, M.
B. Rowe, T. McCracken, H. B. Hall, H. Dannehl, Z. M.
Honey, I. G. Herkamp, W. H. Cunningham, M. G. Willis,
A. K. Phillips, R. W. Adams, E. D. Cole, R. T. Knox and
such others as they may hereafter associate with them, are
hereby incorporated under the title of the Rappahannock
Valley Agricultural and Mechanical Society of Fredericksburg
Virginia. The organization shall be empowered to issue stock
not to exceed fifty thousand dollars, or to be less than three
thousand dollars, to be divided into shares of ten dollars each,
to be collectable as the directors may decide; to hold real estate
not to exceed one hundred acres of land, and to be governed
by such constitution and by-laws as may be decided upon by
the society, not inconsistent with the laws of the common-
wealth.
