CHAP. 441.—An ACT to allow Wat. T. Seawell, of the county of Glou-
cester, to erect a pier or wharf in said county, for the purpose of
shipping oysters, &c. —
Approved March 6, 1886.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
W. T. Seawell, of the county of Gloucester, be authorized to
erect a pier or wharf on the Severn river, at the landing of the
said Wat. T. Seawell, in the county of Gloucester, for the pur-
pose of shipping oysters, vegetables, and so forth, to and from
the same, for himself and others; and the said Wat. T. Seawell,
his heirs, assigns, shall have the right to charge such compen-
sation for the use of said pier or wharf as may be agreed upon
by and between the parties, or as are usual: provided, that the
said pier or wharf shall not interfere with navigation: and pro-
vided also, that this act shall at all times be under the control
of the general assembly, and be amended or repealed, as may
be deemed proper.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
