Chap. 413.—An ACT to prescribe the times for the holding of the
terms of the courts of the eighth judicial circuit.
Approved March 3, 1886.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
there shall be held, annually, in the eighth judicial circuit of
this state, two terms of the circuit court as follows, to-wit: In
the county of Elizabeth City, on the twentieth day of March
and September; in the county of Warwick, on the twenty-
seventh day of March and September; in the county of York,
on the first day of April and October; in the city of Williams-
burg and county of James City on the seventh day of April and
October; in the county of Charles City on the fourteenth day
of April and October; in the county of New Kent, on the
twenty-first day of April and October; in the county of North-
ampton, on the first Monday in May and November; and in
the county of Accomack, on the second Tuesday in May and
November.
2. This act shall be in force from and after the first day or
January, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven, and all
acts and parts of acts inconsistent with this act are hereby re-
pealed. |
