Chap. 401.—An ACT to allow the school trustees of Red Bank dis-
trict, Halifax county, to expend surplus funds in school-houses.

aI. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
it shall be lawful for the board of school trustees of Red Bank
district, Halifax county, to use the surplus county school funds
belonging to said district, that may be in the hands of the
county treasurer August first, eighteen hundred and eighty-six,
or so much thereof as the said board may deem necessary, for
the purpose of purchasing, erecting or repairing school-houses
in said district.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
