Chap. 397.—An ACT for the relief of Robert M. Hutchinson and
George R. Land, administrators of Samuel G. Farrar, late treasurer
of the county of Mecklenburg.
Approved March 3, 1886.
Whereas. it is represented to the general assembly that there
is in the hands of R. M. Hutchinson and George R. Land,
administrators of S. G. Farrar, late treasurer of Mecklenburg
county, and in the hands of his deputies, an amount of uncol-
lected tickets for state taxes, licenses, county and school levies
for the years eighteen hundred and eighty-two and eighteen
hundred and eighty-three: therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the treasurer of Mecklenburg county be and he is hereby
authorized to collect for said administrators, with full power of
distress, such tickets for state taxes, licenses, county.and school
levies, as yet remain in the hands of said administrators uncol-
lected for said year, which have not been returned as insolvent
or delinquent: provided, the same be collected by the fifteenth
day of June eighteen hundred and eighty-six.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
