CHAP. 359.—An ACT to regulate the printing and binding of the Vir-
ginia Supreme Court Reports, and to amend and re-enact section 7
of chapter 162, of the Code of 1873, as amendted by an act approved
March 17, 1884.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
section seven of chapter one hundred and sixty-two, of Code
of eighteen hundred and seventy-three, as amended by act ap-
proved March seventeenth, eighteen hundred and eighty-four,
e amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
$ 7.. The superintendent of public printing shall contract for
the printing and binding of two thousand copies of the reports
by the reporter of the court of ‘appeals of the decisions of that
court, in the style of print and binding to conform to the pres-
ent reports of the decisions of the supreme court of the United
States; and the reporter shall secure the copyright of the said
repurts in his own name, and assign the same to the secretary
of the commonwealth for the benefit of the state; and he shall
deliver the volumes, when completed, to the secretary of the
commonwealth. In all other respects, in relation to the print-
ing and binding of said reports, the eighth section of the act
of March first, eighteen hundred and sixty-six, entitled an act
to.amend and re-enact the provisions of the Code of eighteen
hundred and sixty, and the acts subsequent thereto, in regard
to the public printer and public printing, shall apply.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
