CHAP. 321.—An ACT to provide for the disposition of certain moneys
in the hands of the treasurer of Amelia county, which, prior to the
abolition of the township system. in the state, has been collected
under township levies.
Approved March 1, 1886.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
all moneys now standing to the credit of the former townships
of Amelia county, on the books of the treasurer of said county,
be and the same are hereby set apart and appropriated to the
improvement of the public roads in the respective magisterial
districts, corresponding in name and boundary to the old town-
ships of said county, and that the same be drawn by and ex-
pended under the supervision of the board of supervisors of
said county, as other moneys are drawn and expended.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
