Chap. 311.—An ACT to establish an agricultural experimental sta-
tion at the Virginia Agricultural and Mechanical College at Blacks-
burg.

Whereas congress proposes to make an appropriation for.the
maintenance of the agricultural experimental stations at the
several agricultural and mechanical colleges in the United
States,

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
an agricultural experimental station be and is hereby established
at the Virginia Agricultural and Mechanical college at Blacks-
burg, the same to be maintained by appropriations made by
the congress of the United States.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage. ,
