Chap. 228.—An ACT to amend section 3, of chapter 107, of the Code
of 1873, relating to who are disabled to be surveyors.
Approved February 26, 1886.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
section three, of chapter one hundred and seven, of the Code
of eighteen hundred and seventy-three, be amended and re-
enacted so as to read as follows:
§ 3. No clerk or deputy clerk of any county court shall hold
the office of surveyor or deputy surveyor in the same county,
except. in the counties of Nansemond, Isle of Wight, Alexandria
and Accomac.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
